The elegant Barbaresco DOCG is an artistry crafted carefully by the Bruno Rocca cellar in the Piedmont region. This perfectly round red wine is derived entirely from the ripe Nebbiolo grapes. After the manual collection of the grapes, the fermentation of the must happens in stainless steel tanks for 15 to 18 days. The fermented liquor is then collected in French oak barriques to undergo aging for 12 to 16 months. The fully matured garnet-colored wine is then bottled to become a refreshment of majestic quality.
The ideally round red wine Barbaresco DOCG is an elegant creation of Bruno Rocca cellar. The Nebbiolo grapes that are required to create such magnificence are grown in the vineyards of municipality of Neive that is located in the Piedmont region. These dark-skinned grapes are grown on the clayey soil that has a mix of tuff and sand veins. The vineyards produce about 40 hectoliters per hectare of yield every year. The fully ripened fruits are harvested from the mid to late October.
The smoothness of this rich red wine pairs seamlessly with dishes of roast duck, braised beef, game meats, and duck confit risotto with chanterelles at ideal serving temperatures of 15 to 16 degree Celsius.
