Nose:  The purity of this wine presents an interesting medley of aromas that include mellowing fragrances of acacia honey, golden apple and pineapple, sharpness of fruity melon, and a slight hint of minerals. In the end, it delivers the soft touches of green broom tree.

Mouth:  This savoring wine delivers an edgy feeling with good acidity that has a pleasant finish and persistent aftertaste. The warm spicy flavor of this wine is balanced melodiously with the notes of sweet tobacco.


The spicy sweet wine Langhe Chardonnay Cadet DOC is a luscious gift from the Bruno Rocca cellar of Piedmont region. The purity of the Chardonnay grapes is evident in this remarkable wine. After manual collection and soft treading of the grapes, cryo-maceration happens for about 12 to 24 hours at 5 to 8 degree Celsius. The fermentation of the grapes happens at 15 degree Celsius for 15 to 20 days. Fermented liquor then undergoes maturation for six to eight days. The 80% of this maturation takes place in stainless steel tanks with frequent batonnage to stir the lees and 20% of the aging happens in French oak barrels that adds the oak-vanilla flavor to the wine. The fully matured wine is then bottled for consumption.


The purity of Chardonnay grapes that play an imperative role in the making of sweet and spicy flavor of Langhe DOC wine of Bruno Rocca cellar are grown in vineyard of Cadet. The vineyard is situated in the Neive village of Piedmont region. The soil has the combined presence of blue marl and limestone in it. The vineyard delivers about 50 hectoliter/hectare of production every year. The harvesting period tends to be a little early for these lissome light-skinned grapes.


The luxuriance of Chardonnay pairs majestically with dishes of sweet shellfish and white-fleshed fish, chicken and turkey, risotto and pasta, and also with cream and butter sauces. Ideal serving temperatures for this wine are considered to be 10 to 12 degree Celsius.
